Homeschool Day Fall 2026 Monday,September 28

Back by popular demand, Stewart Farms' Homeschool Day is Monday, September 28. **We are unable to book Homeschool groups or co-ops for our Field Trip Program. Homeschool Day is especially set aside for homeschool families.* CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN AT ALL TIMES.

Here's the 411:

1. No reservations are needed! You set your own schedule for your group that morning.

2. Farm opens at 9am, gates close at 12pm, and the farm closes at 1pm (you will receive a "Farmers' Friend" upon arrival, which allows our guys to keep up with what you do while you're here.)

3. Wagon rides depart at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30 (pumpkin lesson following the wagon ride). Wagon ride & lesson takes approximately 1 hour.

4.  The Pumpkin Chronicles (story time) will be at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30. Story time takes approximately 20 minutes.

5. Maize & farmyard animals will be open all morning to do on your own schedule. The mini maize takes around 15 minutes. Full maize (not recommended for ages under 8) takes approximately 1 hour.

6. Retail pumpkin patch will be open 9am-12:30pm. Pumpkins are 60 cents per pound.

7. Check out at the Farm Market at the end of your fun filled morning! (Don't forget to bring in your Farmers' Friend!)


GATES CLOSE AT 12 NOON. THE FARM CLOSES AT 1PM. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.


Our Homeschool Day is for homeschool families ONLY. It allows your family, group, or co-op the opportunity to participate in our Field Trip Program.

 Please note there will be a 3.25% convenience fee added to all card transactions.

Our concession stand is not open during weekdays. We have plenty of picnic tables, so feel free to bring drinks, snacks, or a picnic lunch if you'd like.

No. All activity pricing is for all ages 1 and up. Under the age of 1 is free. If children under the age 1 would like the small pumpkin included in the field trip pricing, it will be $5.

Gates open at 9am. Gates close at 12pm (no entrance to the farm will be allowed after 12pm). The farm CLOSES at 1pm, and all guests must exit by 1pm. Start times for activities and approximate activity duration for each are listed above in the "411" section. All guests can plan their activities to suit their schedules, but be aware of start times for each activity.

Our concessions are not open during week days. We have plenty of picnic tables available for use, so feel free to bring snacks/lunch/drinks for your group.

Yes! Picnic tables in our maize area and concession area are available for your use as you're at the farm. We ask that you please clean up any trash/snacks/spills during your visit.

Upon entrance to the farm, you will be given a paper we call our "Farmers' Friend." You will keep this paper with you AT ALL TIMES, as our guys will fill out the form as you go to each activity. You will park at the front of the farm and take your "Farmers' Friend" in to pay at the Farm Market when you are ready to end your morning.
